Exploring our Ecosystems is an educational workshop for children ages 6 – 10.
Register now to attend this workshop on July 19 or July 20 at the WRR Sherman Animal Care Complex. Admission is just $25 and participants will gain an understanding of the effect that humans have on the ecosystems around them and how that has permanently affected native wildlife. Students will also create a diorama of Nature and wildlife in Texas.
On Saturday, August 17th the Young Friends of Wildlife Rescue Club will be hosting a Nature Walk and Park Cleanup at Phil Hardberger Park. Join us for a morning of connecting with nature and take part in an educational scavenger hunt. Following the nature walk, guests will enjoy interactive games, informational booths, and snow cones!

Living With Urban Wildlife is a free educational workshop for adults.
Sign up now to attend this workshop on August 21 at the WRR Sherman Animal Care Complex. Admission is free and participants will gain a better understanding of why wildlife often seek food and shelter in areas highly populated by humans. Workshop attendees will learn how to peacefully coexist with and appreciate urban wildlife by using humane repel and deter techniques.

Providing physically and mentally stimulating objects and activities is a critical part of caring for wild animals. This May we are asking for donations of items and funds for this critical need including old purses, rubber dog toys, and much more. For a full list of needed items visit our Wish List.
